PLAN YOUR SESSION

One of a kind photography for your one of a kind pet.

Serving Caledon, Brampton, Halton Hills, Milton, Guelph and more.

Each Doggy Did It session is uniquely designed with your pet’s specific needs and personality in mind. Have an active adventurer? A session while exploring a beautiful hiking trail and swimming pond might be your perfect fit. Have a cuddly couch potato? A more laid back garden session, or indoor studio session would let your pet shine. Want a combination of both? Consider a VIP (Very Important Pet) session to highlight all the best aspects of your best friend.

Your session includes a consultation where we will discuss you and your pets needs and preferences and create a session plan that is unique to you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for capturing these photos of my boy before he declined. It’s amazing being able to see these photos of him when he still had energy and life. There are no words to express how thankful I am for you and these photos.”

The Sessions

Your Doggy Did It session is completely customizable to match you and your pet’s personality and style. Here are a few things to keep in mind when planning your session:

Location and Style:

  • Is there a location that holds significance for you and your pet; your favourite place to bond?

  • Would you enjoy an active outdoor location such as a trail, or a laid back setting such as a garden?

  • Do you prefer the in-home studio portrait style? Or do you have a pet that can’t travel for their session?

Images and Artwork:

  • Are you looking for just a few great portraits to display, such as a large framed canvas above the sofa, or a framed print to add to the family photo wall?

  • Do you want to memorialize your pet with an album that truly showcases everything you love about them?

Don’t worry if you’re not yet sure about the details, your pre-session consultation will walk you through the process and help you decide what is right for you and your pet.

For all sessions, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date.

Additional artwork, collections and prints are available for purchase.

The Process

Contact me for your in-person, email or phone consultation, where we will discuss your pet’s specific details and what your goals are for the session. If your pet has any special needs, does any tricks or has unique traits that you would like photographed please let me know during this initial consultation. We will also discuss session options, locations and dates.

When all your questions are answered and you are ready to book your session we will schedule a date and time specifically for you.  A $100 retainer (non-refundable) is required to secure your appointment.

On the session date we will take some time to introduce your pet to the location, equipment, and photographer before we begin. This helps ensure everyone is comfortable and ready to get to work. Then, simply relax and enjoy the experience.

Within about three weeks, when your gallery is ready, we will get in touch once again for your image reveal and ordering consultation, where you will purchase your artwork and collections.

Session Tips

Follow these tips to get the most out of your Doggy Did It pet photography experience.

  • If necessary, have your dog groomed within a week or so before the session

  • Have a few of your pet’s favourite treats handy, in case a little encouragement is needed

  • Bring any toys or props required for any special tricks you would like photographed

  • Choose a location that your pet is familiar with; they will be more relaxed and your photos will look more natural

  • Studio sessions do best in a room with a hard floor surface (no carpet), with a clear space of at least 8x10 feet
